Christmas Gift Guide 2011

Ho ho ho! With Christmas only two weeks away, I thought I would give you a little holiday help, in case you have yet to find the perfect gifts to put under your tree.
First of all, who doesn't love a warm, soothing bath in this cold winter? Treat your loved ones to these Laura Mercier Crème de Pistache body cream, scrub and honey bath. They also come in different scents, including Crème Brûlée, Almond Coconut and Fresh Fig. Yummy!

Most make up brands come out with a holiday collection at Christmas, so keep an eye out for wonderful limited edition items, such as Stila's Dream In Full Colour palette and lip glaze set. Still have a look at the permanent collections though, as they often feature true gems, such as these Chanel Illusion d'Ombre eyeshadows or this Nars Make Up Your Mind set.

Perfume is one of the most popular presents to give at Christmas, especially with all the amazing gift sets gracing the shops, at this time of the year. This one, by Philosophy, includes their best selling fragrance, Amazing Grace, a matching shower gel and body butter.

Books are always a safe bet. These Penguin Hardback Classics, designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith, would be a perfect addition to any bookshelf. Books such as The London Ritz Book of Christmas, Style from A to Zoe, Nars : Make Up Your Mind, Style & Substance : The Best of ELLE Decor would also make wonderful gifts.

Smythson notebooks come in various colours and sizes, to fit everyone's needs. Choose one of their cute titles, or create your own for £6.95 per letter. If you are on a budget, J.Crew also offers a variety of notebooks with fun titles, such as this "Blogs I Follow and Like" one.

From gardening and wine tasting to style and even cats, there is a Moleskine passion journal for everything and everyone. All you have to do now is to figure out which one to get!

Bits and bobs for the house always work a charm, so make sure to stop by Graham and Green, Oliver Bonas or Anthropology.

These Jo Malone candles make for a chic present and will help create the perfect Christmas ambiance.

Make sure to open your presents before dessert, so you get to use these gorgeous Alessi heart-shaped spoons to dig into your Christmas pudding.

Christmas is a time to indulge in some of your favourite food and drinks. Fortnum & Mason's hampers tick all the boxes, but you could also create your own for a fraction of the price.

This Little Pink Book of Cocktails and stainless steel cocktail set is what every girl needs for the party season. Who said Christmas had to be all about mulled wine after all? It'll be an apple martini for me, please!

This stylish bottle of Crystal Head vodka would be the perfect addition to any bar.

Macaroons are the most delicate treats, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Not only does Ladurée make the tastiest ones, their boxes are so pretty, they can easily be turned into jewellery or trinket boxes once the macaroons have been consumed.

This Fortnum & Mason's set includes a bottle of the finest rosé Champagne and a box of handmade pink truffles - both elegant and tasty!

Cashmere socks also make for a luxurious present, sure to please anyone during the winter time. Brora make beautiful ones, but you could also go for really Christmassy socks, such as these ones from Urban Outfitters.

Stocking Fillers

"Get The Hint" stickers, Smythson noteletsLomography Diana Mini,  Fashion Face-Off playing cards, Home Made cookie stamp, Water Bobble

Of course, no stocking would be complete without a few chocolates and candy canes! My favourite ones come from Mrs Kibble's Olde Sweet Shoppe, a lovely little sweet shop in London, who also deliver their delicious handmade sweets to your door, if you don't live in the city.

If you are one of the lucky few who are already sorted out, what did you get your loved ones, this Christmas?
