Looking through the window, you would never guess it is summer. This typically British weather has got me dreaming of a holiday and something even more exciting... My dream holiday wardrobe of course!
I am a firm believer in mixing high street basics with designer staples, for a fresher and more achievable look. This is exactly what I did here, with the help of farfetch.com and its amazing designer accessory selection. Plus, it wouldn't be called a dream holiday wardrobe if you already had everything in your closet, right?
What I would wear to... The airport
Louis Vuitton suitcase | Converse shoes | H&M shorts | Uniqlo T-shirt
Comfort is key when flying, but it doesn't mean your outfit has to be boring. Spice things up with a pop of colour and some small pieces of jewellery, such as this Tobias Wistisen skull bracelet. Don’t worry, the designer suitcase is optional.
What I would wear to... Explore the city
I absolutely love the look of chunky gold jewellery when on holiday. Not only does it make even the simplest outfit stand out, it also enhances your natural tan nicely. Finish off the look with a pair of Ray-Bans and a large handbag, perfect to fit all the bits and bobs you will most likely buy that day.
What I would wear to... Grab cocktails with the girls
Getting cocktails with your girlfriends is the perfect excuse to dress up on holiday. After a day spent by the pool, it feels wonderful to just pamper yourself, slip on a sparkly little number and wear your favourite accessories to hit the many seafront bars.
What I would wear to... The pool
Leather bracelets make for the perfect beach or pool accessories, as they are often water-resistant and add a little extra to your outfit - if you can even call a bikini an outfit.
What I would wear to... Hit the club
This dress might not scream "night out" to you, but you would be amazed to see what the right jewellery and accessories can do to an outfit. Here, I opted for touches of black leather, gold chains and studs to toughen up this otherwise very girly dress and voilà, the perfect outfit to dance the night away.
What would you pack in your dream holiday wardrobe?

I think your blog is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteDo you mind if I ask what program - if any - you use to create your photo collages?
Thanks!

Thanks, Charlie!
DeleteI actually don't use a program but a website called polyvore.com to edit my collages. Once you're satisfied with it, just take a screen cap and there you have it, a perfect photo collage.
I hope that was helpful,
