Christmas Gift Guide 2013

Ho Ho Ho… With Christmas only a few weeks away, I thought I'd play Santa's little helper and give you a few idea, in case you have yet to find the perfect presents to put under the tree.

'Tis the season to be merry so why not do it in style with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne rosé and these Kate Spade Larabee Dot flutes. Pop, Fiz, Clink!

Books are always a safe bet. On my Christmas list this year : this Christian Louboutin coffee table book, this gorgeous edition of The Great Gatsby and Alexa Chung's 'It'.

Featuring 24 of the brand's most iconic shades, this limited edition Yves Saint Laurent "La Laque Couture" gift set makes for a luxurious and decadent present, which will make any girl squeal with excitement - or is it just me?

Many people are hoping to find an iPad or an iPad Mini under the tree this year, so why not surprise them with a case for their new gadget, such as this DVF little number
Perfume sets such as this Jo Malone Cologne Pomegranate Noir gift set - which include the 30ml cologne, as well as the matching body and hand was and body crème -, are extremely popular at this time of the year. Not a fan of this particular scent?  You can also create your own bespoke gift set, using any of the brand's 20 different scents.
Music enthusiasts will love this Crosley mini record player. Don't forget to include a few vinyls to get them started on their new record collection or they'll have nothing to listen to on Christmas day.

Inspired by fashion photograph and legend, Guy Bourdin, this year's Nars holiday collection is a good one. My personal highlights include this 'Promiscuous' lip pencil set, the 'One Night Stand' cheek palette and the 'Voyeur' eyeliner set.

From film to travel and even chocolate, there is a Moleskin journal for everyone in the family. Now the real question is, which ones will you put under the tree?

Everyone loves a bit of sparkle at this time of the year and no one does it quite like Deborah Lippmann. Her glittery polishes are a brilliant way to get yourself in the Christmas spirit and deck those fingertips.

This Ritz London Book of Drinks and Cocktails and Alessi cocktail set is what everyone needs this party season. Who said Christmas was all about mulled wine? I'll have a French martini!

And why not add this bottle of Crystal Head vodka? Not only will it look tremendously cool on any mini-bar, it'll also come in useful when making those Christmas cocktails.

Diamonds are a girl's best friends, right? But if your budget doesn't quite stretch to diamonds, quality costume jewellery will also do the trick. From your mother to your girlfriend and even little sister, Stella & Dot has something for everyone. Other places worth mentioning are Kate Spade, J.Crew and Oliver Bonas, when it comes to jewellery.

This Dyptique 50th anniversary gift set makes for a chic and luxurious present and will help the house smell delicious all year around.
Why not get the women around you one of these cute alphabet wash bags and fill it with makeup and body products, creating your very own beauty gift set?

Bits and bobs for the house always do the trick. My favourite places to shop for home decor are Laura Ashley, Oliver Bonas, Anthropology, NEXT and Graham & Green.

Fill a coin purse with chocolate coins for a fun and playful gift. I particularly love this Lulu Guinness one, but this Kate Spade champagne bottle purse would also make for a great present.

Christmas is all about food and who doesn't love a good hamper? If you don't want to splurge on one of Fortnum & Mason's luxury number, why not make your own? You could even include homemade baked goods for your friends and family to enjoy on Christmas day.

Snap away this Christmas time with this Fujifilm Instax Mini instant camera. Don't forget to include a few options of novelty films, such as these 'Candy Pop' ones or those Christmas ones.

Any baker would love to find a new recipe book under the tree - I am currently obsessed with  SugarBaby by Gesine Bullock -, but why not add a few extra goodies, such as this Martha Stewart spatula and these cute measuring cups to make it the ultimate Christmas gift?

Cashmere socks make for a luxurious present, sure to please anyone during the colder months. Brora makes beautiful ones, but you could also go for really Christmassy socks, such as these ones from Urban Outfitters.
Perhaps the most awaited beauty release of the year, the Naked 3 palette is the perfect present for any girly girl out there. Whether she already owns way too many eyeshadows or has only just started getting into makeup, the Naked 3 shades are original, yet universal. Get it while you can - this is bound to sell out fast!
Nothing quite beats a pipping hot cup of tea by the fireplace, especially if it is Whittard's Christmas tea, served in this Ikat tea set from CWonders.

And because no cuppa would be complete without a biscuit (or two), don't forget to put this cute little Christmas gift box from the Biscuiteers under the tree.
Who doesn't love a warm, soothing bath in this weather? Treat your loved ones to these Laura Mercier Crème de Pistache body cream, scrub and honey bath. Not a fan of Pistachio? They also come in different scents, including Crèmes Brûlée, Almond Coconut and Fresh Fig.

Stocking Fillers
Now you have all your presents sorted, it is time to tackle those stocking fillers. Here are a few ideas :
