Christmas Advent Calendars 2015

The Beauty Calendars

This beautifully presented calendar keeps 12 of Charlotte Tilbury's best selling products hidden behind each door - including her legendary Wonderglow, a couple of her lipsticks and her yet-to-be launched Magic Night Cream. It's not a cheap one, but it is certainly worth every single penny.

Filled with 24 luxury samples and worth £226, this calendar features some of the most exciting brands you can find in the department store's Beauty Workshop, that is Caudalie, Eyeko and many more.

The Body Shop is not only offering one, but two advent calendars, making sure there is something for everyone. Want to splurge out? Opt for the premium calendar, which is generously filled with over £120-worth of skincare, body care and makeup. On a budget? Their £60 calendar is also filled with beauty goodies, which will put a smile on your face in the run-up to Christmas.

Filled with 24 of the brand's iconic nail paint pots and worth £124, this is definitely one for the nail lovers.

Behind each door of this beautiful advent calendar hides little luxuries taken from the brand's best-selling ranges. Think refined Colognes and Body Crèmes, which you can layer and mix to create your own seasonal scent every day.

The most budget friendly of the beauty calendars featured on the blog today comes from Boots and N°7. Worth £148 but retailing for only £38, it includes 25 of the brand's most popular products, including 6 full size items.

Filled with some of the brand's most popular products, including their legendary candles and Eaux de Toilette, this is the ultimate luxury treat, this holiday season.

Slightly different from what Benefit has offered for the past few years, this advent calendar only has 12 doors to open, but what you'll find behind these will more than make up for it.

With 24 luxurious surprises behind its beautiful, numbered doors, this calendar has everything you might need in the cold winter months. The only downside? You might be tempted to open all of them at once!

The Liberty advent calendar has become somewhat of an institution in the beauty world and it's very easy to see why. With 24 luxurious products hiding between each of the gorgeous signature print doors, this is bound to sell out quickly, so act fast if you want in on this beauty. They still had a few in store, last time I checked.

Hiding a Clarins best-seller behind each of its 24 doors, this is the perfect calendar for any skincare lovers. I also know this one would be perfect for people with more mature skin, because you are never too old for an advent calendar.

The perfect option for any haircare enthusiasts or world travellers, this beautiful white and gold calendar hides 23 deluxe travel sizes of the brand's best selling products, as well as a full size of their... You didn't really think I was going to tell you, were you? You'll have to find out for yourself on the 24th!

Open a new door each morning and find anything from L'Occitane's legendary hand cream to their Pivoine Flora Eau de Toilette or a totally non-beauty related little gift. But don't worry, these are still very Christmassy and are bound to come in handy, this season. Believe me, I had a little peak.

The Traditional Calendars

Because sometimes, nothing quite beats an old fashion chocolate advent calendar, Godiva has got you covered, this Christmas. With 24 delicious treats waiting for you behind each door, it's definitely one to please your sweet tooth.

One for all the couples out there, this Hotel Chocolat calendar hides not 24, but 48 of their delicious truffles in the most festive flavours. Think mulled wine, pecan gingerbread and cinnamon praline., but remember this is one you are supposed to share!

This beautiful and unusual circular advent calendar features Hendrick Avercamp's A Winter Scene with Skaters near a Castle and behind each door, a detail from the National Gallery Collection - a real treat for the eye if you ask me.

This Lindt advent calendar is the ultimate feel good treat to help you count down the days to Christmas. And the best thing? You can easily pick this one up while doing the weekly food shop. Easy peasy.

The Not-So-Traditional Calendars

If your budget doesn't quite stretch to the Diptyque calendar, Yankee Candle is also offering a candle advent calendar in the form of this magical carousel, which is filled with 25 of their most festive-smelling tea light candles. It is definitely starting to smell like Christmas, don't you think?

Behind each doors of this calendar lies a miniature bottle of whisky - from well-known brands, but also some unusual blends which will surprise even the biggest Whiskey connoisseurs. Not into Whiskey? This boozy calendar also comes filled with gin, vodka and tequila to name a few.

The beautiful limited edition tin contains 24 festive all-spice biscuits, ready to be popped into the  matching hand-crafted cloth calendar created by Sarah Moore exclusively for the brand. The best thing? You can buy the two separately in case you are feeling crafty or simply fancy doing some festive baking yourself.

Filled with 25 'Freedom at Topshop' goodies - including stud earrings, charm necklaces and dainty bracelets -, this is one for the accessory lovers amongst us.

Another one for the 18 and over, this beautiful advent calendar will make any craft beer lover as happy as a kid on Christmas morning.

David's Tea '24 Days of Tea' Advent Calendar, $40 CAD

One for my American and Canadian readers, this advent calendar will help you keep warm and get into the Christmas spirit with its 24 festive blends of tea, such as Buttered Rum, Toasted Walnut and Santa's secret, a delicious peppermint black tea infused with candy cane sprinkles. It is definitely one you will look forward to opening in the morning.

And this is it for this year! Have you already bought yours? I personally can't seem to decide between the Ciaté Mini Mani Month and a good old chocolate one.
