Christmas Gift Guide 2015

Oh, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... And you know what that means? It means it's for me to put my Santa hat on and help you, just in case you don't know what you'll be putting under the tree, this year. Just like Santa, I come bearing gift (ideas.)

Is there anything more festive than burning a new candle on Christmas morning? I don't think so. Many brands come out with their own limited edition sets around this time of the year, but I particularly love this Tom Dixon one, which features three of their signature scents.

Because Christmas is the season to be jolly - quite literally -, give your friends a little help stocking their mini bar with some cocktail making essentials, like these utensils from West Elm or this Kate Spade cocktail shaker, as well as a bottle of their liquor of choice. Now, sit down, relax and enjoy the drinks.

This Hourglass Ambient Light palette is probably on every beauty girl's Christmas list this year, so don't wait too long to snatch this up as it will inevitably sell out.

The perfect present for the couple who just moved together or the friend who just bought their first home, these beautiful tree ornaments can be customised with any initials or monogram.

Books, for Christmas? Groundbreaking. In all seriousness, nothing beats finding a good book to read by the fire, once all the festivities are over. Carrie Brownstein's Hunger Makes Me A Modern Girl is one of the most entertaining pieces of reading I have picked up in a while, but you can never go wrong with a coffee table book, a novel or a play either.

Give the gift of music with these gorgeous Vain STHLM headphones, this Christmas. Oh and don't forget to add in an iTunes gift card so your loved one can enjoy listening to some new tunes with their amazing new headphones.

Jewellery is always a safe bet, when it comes to women. There is something to suit everyone's tastes and budget. Plus, who doesn't love a little bit of bling? My favourite places to shop for jewellery are Stella & Dot, J.Crew and Baublebar.

And for the person who already has all the jewellery they need - and possibly more -, why not get them this beautiful copper and marble jewellery stand from Oliver Bonas? Not into copper? This beauty is also available in gold.

Christmas also means there is a new year right around the corner. And what better way to welcome in 2016 than with a brand new planner? I'm a huge fan of the Kikki K diaries and since the brand just opened a store in Covent Garden, it'd be rude not to.

You can always count on Jo Malone to come out with incredibly beautiful gift sets around this time of the year. These mini colognes make for the perfect present for someone who is only just discovering the brand, allowing them to try five of their signature scents. And if you get your Christmas shopping done on Regent Street, you can even get your box illustrated or stamped in-store, making it even more special.

This Whittard flaked white and dark drinking chocolate is the ultimate festive treat, especially when  drunk in a beautiful mug. I love this House of Hackney one, but you could also go all out and chose one of Emma Bridgewater's most festive designs for instance.

Board games make for the perfect Christmas presents, since they can be used on the day and are always a great laugh. These days, I like to go for something a little bit more stylish than the classic scrabble board, like this Jonathan Adler Tic Tac Toe game or this Monopoly deluxe wooden set.

Colouring books for adults are all the rage these days and this Vogue one makes for the perfect present for just about any fashion-lover. Pair it with a tin of your favourite colouring pencils - mine are from Faber-Castell -, and you are good to go.

Any world traveller would love to find this scratch map under the tree this Christmas. And the best thing? It also looks great on a gallery wall.

Every year, brands come out with some of the most amazing gift sets. This set of ten Tom Ford lipsticks is oh-so-dreamy and definitely worth it if you have a few hundreds - or thousands for the set of 50 lipsticks -, to spare.

But again if your budget doesn't quite stretch to the Tom Ford lipstick sets, NARS offers a beautiful and slightly cheaper alternative with this humoresque palette.

Nothing says Christmas quite like sparkly, glittery nails. My new favourite ones come from Nails Inc and are the perfect gifts for anyone who likes to keep their talons season-appropriate.

The Olympus PEN is the perfect camera for anyone who is thinking about getting into photography, blogging or even YouTube and doesn't want to carry around a DSLR.

A magazine subscription is a wonderful gift which keep on giving all year long. Whether your loved one is into fashion, beauty, cinema or even wine, there is a magazine for them.

New makeup brushes are always a great present to give someone, especially if they are just getting into makeup. These Real Techniques Bold Metal ones have blew me away and the best thing? Boots currently offers a limited edition set featuring three of their amazing brushes for only £30. A real bargain!

This nifty little  projector lets you use your phone to screen some of your favourite films or TV shows - pretty cool, eh? It is bound to be the toy every adult in the house will be playing with on Christmas day.

This Rifle Paper Co. recipe tin makes for the perfect present for that one person in your life who loves to cook and always seems to come up with new, original recipes. And if they are not into florals, this beauty also comes in a few other patterns.

A cute jar filled with someone's favourite sweets or biscuits is always a great idea. I have personally fallen in love with these Mark & Graham ones. By the way, did I ever mention how much I loved candy canes?

There is no better time to relax in a hot bath than in the winter, making this Ultimate Bath Jewel set from Aromatherapy Associates the perfect Christmas present.

Music lovers will be thrilled to find this Marshall bluetooth speaker under the tree this year, with its classic look and amazing sound quality.

Christmas is the perfect occasion to treat someone to something they wouldn't never spend their own money on, like these agate coasters, for example.

This Aesop set makes for the perfect present for the men in your life - no matter if they already have a huge skincare collection or if they are just a wash-their-face-and-go kind of guy.

Personalised stationery is a great present, but if your budget doesn't quite stretch to these gorgeous Smythson little number, Chroma also offers beautiful, customisable notebooks.

Know someone who has everything - or so it seems? Concert or theatre tickets are the perfect present for them! Kids will most definitely love Disney's new musical, Aladdin which is set to open at the Prince Edward Theatre in the new year, while adults might prefer seeing A Winter's Tale, currently showing at the Garrick. As for concerts, I hear the BST line up is pretty great, once again.

Whether it is these J.Crew checked numbers or some festive bottoms from Primark, everyones loves new cosy PJs around this time of the year.

Stocking Fillers
Now you have your presents sorted, it is time to tackle those stocking fillers. Here are a few ideas :
