A few months ago, I assisted stylist Rebecca Rose on a photo shoot for her luxury vintage boutique, Juno Says Hello. We had a great team working with us that day, including photographer Dani Riot, model Rebecca Thacker, blogger Clara Wood and video artist Sonny Malhotra, who caught all the behind-the-scenes action on camera. Don't blink though, or you might just miss me.
Ho ho ho! With Christmas only two weeks away, I thought I would give you a little holiday help, in case you have yet to find the perfect gifts to put under your tree.
First of all, who doesn't love a warm, soothing bath in this cold winter? Treat your loved ones to these Laura Mercier Crème de Pistache body cream, scrub and honey bath. They also come in different scents, including Crème Brûlée, Almond Coconut and Fresh Fig. Yummy!
Last night I headed over to the Soho Hotel to celebrate the launch of Aussie's new large size bottles. The event was actually held in the Terrace Suite, which is known for being P. Diddy's favourite suite when visiting the English capital. The champagne was flowing and delicious canapés were served, but that wasn't the only treat Aussie had in store for us. Indeed, we all got to have a one-on-one consultation with the brand's Ambassador and hair stylist, Liz Taw, who gave me a few tips on how to make the most of sleek straight hair.
This second week unfortunately marks the end of my internship at More's fashion department. These past two weeks have been amazing, and I can honestly say that it has been one of the most valuable experiences I have ever had. The fashion team has been nothing but welcoming to me, making my time in their offices a real pleasure. To top it all off, I got to share these couple of weeks with my fellow intern, Polly, who I am now more than happy to count as a friend.
As for what I wore during this last week of sample returns and fashion shoots, here it is.
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it was my blog's birthday, but it wouldn't be a proper celebration without a present! Bang on trend with its metallic snakeskin finish, this Steve Madden writslet has quickly become one of my essentials, and I am now giving a lucky reader the chance to win one!
25 years ago, my parents decided to call me Elodie. Born and raised on the French Riviera, I am now living in London where I worked and interned for some well-known British publications including, The Times, Stylist, Marie Claire, Company and Harper's Bazaar, whilst completing my MA at Central Saint Martins. I am now working as a fashion journalist and my life is a fair mix of everything you can find on this blog - and so much more!
