Hot Right Now

The days are getting longer, the sun is shining and the whole country is celebrating over a glass of Pimm's. This can only mean one thing : Spring's finally here! Like many, I have spent the past few days in the park, enjoying the sun, a Frappuccino in hand.

Here is what I wore on Thursday to meet up with a few friends, before popping over to the Forever 21 press day, but that is a whole different story and a whole different post.

Blazer, bralet : Primark | Vest, sandals : New Look | Shorts : H&M
Necklaces : Tiffany & Co. | Bag : Mulberry | Sunglasses : Chloé (vintage)

I hope you are all enjoying the weather - I sure am!

Also, you may have already noticed, but it is that time of the year again.... It is the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards, of course! I'd be very, very, very grateful if you could take five minutes and nominate Elle Yeah in the Established Fashion Blog category. I have been loving sharing my favourite trends and thoughts on the fashion world with you for the past year and a half and it would mean the world to me to even be nominated. Thank you!

Trinity Ball 2012

Remember when I went to Dublin last year and had a ball, quite literally? I did it again! This time, Niamh, Ed and I did the hump to the sound of Rizzle Kicksasked Labrinth to come in - in vain - and obviously did our best to be good to Green. Oh, what a night!
Doesn't this picture look familiar? It's probably because you saw it here first!

Now, here comes the most interesting part : the outfits, of course!

WHAT I WORE

Trinity Ball is a summer ball and nothing screams summer like neons, right?

(not pictured : H&M gold and yellow chain bracelet, which you can see here.)

WHAT NIAMH WORE

Prom, summer ball or even graduation? Let me know what you are wearing this ball season!

April Glossybox : "The Natural Box"

In honour of Earth month, Glossybox released its very first completely eco-friendly box, meaning the five organic samples came in a 100% biodegradable box. I was so impressed with this box, I had to share it with you!

Monu Rosewood Reviving Mist
Evian, Avène, Caudalie, or even rose water... You name it, I've tried it! I have never really seen much difference after using facial mists, but I find them to be the perfect little "pick me up" my skin often needs on a hot summer day. I can't wait to use this Monu one, next time I'm going home!

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum
Caudalie is one of those brands I have always loved and trusted when it comes to skincare, so you can imagine how excited I was to see this serum in this month's Glossybox. I have very dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin and after a week of using this product religiously, I can confirm it does exactly what it says on the bottle. My skin has never been better!

Inika Certified Organic Lip Liner
Surprisingly enough, I don't own a lot of lip liners, let alone a nude one, so this Inika lip liner in "Nude Delight" was a more than welcome addition to my collection. The medium-toned shade would suit a vast array of skintones and seems to go perfectly under my favourite nude lipsticks, such as MAC's Hue or Crème d'Nude. It is slightly metallic, which makes me believe that it would also look great as an eyeliner. Not that I'd need yet another eyeliner, but you know...

Philip B Styling Gel
Here is what Glossybox has to say about this product : "Philip B Styling Gel is a multi-purpose, supple, soft-hold gel that adds volume and texture, and gives definition and control to all hair types." To be completely honest, I probably won't use this, but I am sure one of my guy friends will.

Figs & Rouge Peppermint Lip balm
This Figs and Rouge lip balm left my lips looking incredibly moisturised and glossy. It can also be used on cuticles, making the cute little tin one of my handbag essentials. At only £3.29, I'm sure it will quickly become one of yours, too.

If you would also like to give it a try, Glossybox is available for only £10 a month, and will deliver five product miniatures for you to test at home, and thus every month.
