(Closed) Anna Dello Russo for H&M and Nails Inc. Giveaway

As mentioned in my previous blog post, I have now been blogging for two years. Two whole years! To celebrate and thank you all for reading Elle Yeah, I picked up some birthday presents for one lucky readers to win.

The first thing I got, back in October, was this Anna Dello Russo for H&M zebra bangle. Not only does it look great on its own, it also makes for a great layering piece, perfect to throw into those arm parties! I especially love wearing mine with chunky gold chains and leather wrap bracelets. Plus, I thought I'd keep it in the (Dello) Russo family, you know...

(Please note this is my own bangle. The winner's will obviously come wrapped in its original packaging.)

And because it is November, I thought I'd also give away some of my favourite nail colours for Autumn / Winter. That is : Victoria, a rouge noir-inspired polish, Bruton Mews, a festive blackened green, Basil Street, a classic yellow-toned nude and Chester Street, a light metallic minky nude, all by Nails Inc. These are absolute staples in my nail polish collection and I have no doubt they will soon become part of yours too!

To enter this giveaway you need to:

1. Be a follower
2. Follow me on Twitter
3. Like Elle Yeah on Facebook
4. Last but not least, don't forget to leave a comment on this post
with your name and a valid email address where I can contact you

This competition is open worldwide, and thus until December, 31st. I will then proceed to choose a winner using random.org, who will receive the Anna Dello Russo for H&M bracelet and the Nails Inc. nail polishes.

Good luck, everyone!

Happy Birthday, Elle Yeah

Elle Yeah celebrated its 2nd birthday earlier this week. How surreal! I never thought when I started typing my very first blog post, in my uni room, that I would be attending events, meeting fellow bloggers, getting nominated for awards or that people would even recognise me as the face behind Elle Yeah. It's been an incredible journey and I am happy to say that, two years on, I enjoy sharing my fashion musings with you just as much - if not more!

And because a blog is nothing without its readers, keep an eye out for a celebratory giveaway... It's a good one, if I may say so myself!

Thank you for reading Elle Yeah!

Christmas Advent Calendar 2012

With exactly six weeks to go before Christmas, it is time to get into the Holiday spirit and what better way to build up your excitement than to open a new window of your advent calendar every day and thus, for 25 days?

For my 2013 picks, click here.

For Beauty Lovers
Who said advent calendars had to be filled with sweet treats after all?

Because a girl never has enough nail polishes, Ciaté's advent calendar is packed with 17 of their bestselling mini paint pots and four exclusive Caviar blends. Now the real question is, which colour are you going to wear on Christmas day?

Featuring luxury skincare, makeup and fragrance from high end brands such as Lancôme, Khiels, Viktor & Rolf and Shu Uemura, Selfridges's beauty calendar is always one of the first to sell out. If you didn't get your hands on it this time, you will now know better for next year.
Liz Earle's 24 Days of Christmas Calendar

If you are into skincare, this is the advent calendar for you! Behind each of the 24 doors awaits some of the brand's best selling products, including their infamous Cleanse & Polish hot cloth cleanser and Skin Repair moisturiser.

This advent calendar is packed with luxury samples from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Benefit, Philosophy, Saint Tropez, Mavala, Dermalogica, etc. Not opening all those doors at once has never been so hard!

This calendar contains 24 deluxe samples of some of Lancôme's most popular products, including a limited edition bottle of La Vie Est Belle and small sizes of Visionnaire and Hypnose mascara - A real treat for beauty lovers!

L'Oréal Luxe Advent Calendar

This L'Oréal luxurious advent calendar features some of the company's most prestigious high end brands and their best-sellers, including YSL's Forever Youth serum and their Rouge Pure Couture lipstick in "Le Rouge", perfect for the holiday season. Unfortunately, this one is exclusive to the United States and Canada.

For Chocolate Lovers
If you like the traditional idea of a calendar filled with sweet delights, these ones are for you!

Chocolate and traditional drawings of some of London's best attractions? Yes, please!

The French girl in me couldn't help mentioning La Maison Du Chocolat and their advent calendar, filled with some of their finest chocolates. If you live in London, you can find La Maison Du Chocolat in Selfridges, Harrod's, The Village in Westfield and on Piccadilly.

Modelled on Fortnum's famous store in Piccadilly, this wooden calendar is filled with delicious, festive treats. Behind each numbered door is something sweet, such as sugar mice, jelly beans, fondant sweets and of course, Fortnum's signature chocolates. You can also buy it unfilled for you to put your own treats and gifts in.

For Craft Lovers
Alternatively, you could make your own advent calendar and fill it with a mixture of beauty products, accessories, sweet treats or even some small scented candles. Here are some ideas and tutorials on how to create your own :

Falling Stars Advent Calendar

This is the first post of this year's mini Holiday series. I hope you liked it and let me know which one of these calendar you would like to get on the 1st of December!

Jimmy Choo & Rob Pruitt Launch Party

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Jimmy Choo and Rob Pruitt collaboration launch party, in their Sloane Street store, a couple of weeks ago. If the colourful mojitos and delicious cake pops were a strong favourite amongst the press and bloggers, it was the accessories that really stole the show.

The collection, which features Pruitt's signature pandas, is far from what you would expect from the brand. It is bold, playful and yet, quintessentially Jimmy Choo, with most of the label's iconic models reworked to fit Pruitt's imagery. It is classic and daring - perfect for the modern Choo woman.

Thanks Jimmy Choo for a wonderful evening, filled with beautiful shoes, photobooth fun and great music, courtesy of The Sunday Girl.

What are your favourite pieces from the collection? Mine would have to be the Flilipa wallet or the Candy clutch

Picture This : A Month in Instagram

As you may have noticed, I have been a little (alright, completely) M.I.A. lately. Between moving houses, settling into the new flat, finding a part-time job and getting ready to start my postgraduate at Central Saint Martins, it has been a little bit too hectic for me to find time to blog this month. Don't worry though, I am now completely settled down and ready to share my sartorial musings with you once again. So to make up for lost time, here is what I got up to this month :

Night out in Koko with the flatmates | On my way to the Cosmo Blog Awards, rocking some Stella &  Dot, of course! | Cocktails at the Cosmo Blog Awards, courtesy of Mahiki.

With my friend, the lovely Polly, this year's highly commended established fashion blog winner | Dinner at Zizzi with the girls | Stuck in traffic on my way back from Oxford Street

Arm party of the day | Stumbled across this handwritten note by Emma Hill whilst shopping in Selfridges | Time to get ready!

Hilarious moustache magnets from Paperchase | Pre-theatre cocktails and dim-sums with the flatmate | Byron burgers with the Burger Queen herself, also known as Hannah.

Snacks in front of the Great British Bake Off. Not sure Mary Berry would approve... | Happy Birthday to... ME! | Woke up to a batch of delicious homemade cinnamon rolls on my birthday - Isn't my sister the best?

Some of the amazing gifts my sister got me for my 22nd birthday. Spoiled you said? | What would a birthday be without cupcakes? | So, Jimmy Choo requested the pleasure of my company... Would be rude not to!

Putting the finishing touches to my new bedroom | Birthday cupcake from the Hummingbird Bakery - just what I needed after the previous night's birthday celebrations. Thanks, AislingSophie and Hannah! | Chanel Little Black Jacket exhibition, at the Saatchi gallery

Heading to the Jimmy Choo & Rob Pruitt launch party, but more on that later! | How cute are these sushi? | I went home with some lovely goodies, including this little devil. Thanks, Jimmy Choo!

Casually found this huge bottle of 1964 Moët in my street, on a Friday morning. | Ridiculously excited to use my new school supplies! | A picture of me and a couple of friends, looking like death.

I absolutely love the Vogue wall in our living room! | John Rocha S/S13, at the Bryan Morel press day | Maria Grachvogel S/S13

If you don't follow me on Instagram already and would like to do so, my username is ElleYeah. Leave yours in the comments and I will make sure to check it out!
