Never Ending Fun

One of my new year resolutions was to fill the pages of my Moleskine with exciting events, such as concerts, plays, talks, nights out, musicals, etc. and I think I may have just found a way to make it happen with StubHub

StubHub is an online ticket marketplace, where you can safely buy tickets for concerts or theatre events at unbelievably good price. And since you saved so much on the ticket, you may as well splurge on the outfit, right? That's what I thought, so here is what I would (ideally) wear...

...To a fun night with the girls, watching Girls Aloud, before hitting the town :

Skirt : YSL | Top : Wildfox | Bra : Monki | Shoes : Jimmy Choo | Glitterball Clutch : Kate Spade
Locked-In thin bangle : Kate Spade | Christina Link Bracelet : Stella & Dot
Lacquered Spade bangle : Kate Spade | Yellow Pyramid bracelet : Juicy Couture
Glitter nailpolish : Barry M | Lipstick : MAC Candy Yum Yum | Lashes : Cheryl Cole for Eyelure

...To a date night with this cute indie guy, watching Benjamin Francis Leftwich :

Dress : J. Crew | Denim jacket : H&M | Scarf : Louis Vuitton | Boots : Rag & Bone
Bag : Mulberry Tillie | On The Mark and Ever After necklace : Stella & Dot
Eyeliner : L'Oréal Lineur Intense liquid liner | Nailpolish : Chanel Accessoire

...To watch The Vaccines with your best guy friends :

Jeans : Current/Elliott | T-shirt : Junk Food | Jacket : Balmain | Boots : Jeffrey Campbell
Bag : Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. | Luxor and Renegade Cluster bracelet : Stella & Dot
Skull bangle : Alexander McQueen | Liner : Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Zero
Nailpolish : Sephora by OPI Metro Chic

Of course, I am more likely to be the sweaty mess wearing H&M and Topshop but a girl can dream,  right?

What about you, is there any gig you'd like to attend this year?

All I Want(ed) for Christmas - and More

Christmas is officially over and it is now time to put away the lights, decorations and presents, but not before I get the chance to show you what I got this year! So here it is :

My family had it all covered in case I forgot to leave my shoe out for Santa this year : my sister with these gorgeous studded red ballerina flats and my parents with this pair of gold studded ankle boots - both from Zara.

Stella & Dot was very popular this year. In case you don't know, my sister is the one who got me hooked on their jewellery and my collection would be a lot smaller if it wasn't for her and her amazing gifts. Waiting for me under the tree this time were the Renegade Cluster bracelet, the Hematite Link chain and the Panther Pendant necklace.

I may own a ridiculous amount of lipsticks, but had somehow never tried Yves Saint Laurent's Rouge Voluptés. That was until my sister got me shade 22, Exquisite Plum, a surprisingly wearable deep berry colour.

I had been wanting these H&M printed trousers ever since I first saw them on the website and it didn't go unnoticed with the sister. I cannot wait to dress these up with a crisp white shirt and pointed court shoes, or dress them down with my Jonathan Saunders for Vogue's FNO T-Shirt.

You may remember the Grace Coddington memoir from my Christmas gift guide - and if you didn't, my sister definitely did! I was also very excited to unwrap this book about Lanvin and the label's evolution throughout the years.

Remember me tweeting about Essie's winter collection? Once again, my sister did and got me this set of three minis, including Beyond Cozy, Snap Happy and Leading Lady, which I ended up wearing on Christmas day. I was also lucky enough to find a bottle of Where's My Chauffeur, the perfect Tiffany blue, in my stocking.

Like many, I am obsessed with Yankee Candle, so I was thrilled to see this "Home Sweet Home" electric wall plug-in in my stocking this year, next to this "Christmas Cookie" candle. Thank you for all these lovely presents, Steph!

Ladbrokes treated a few bloggers to a surprise Christmas box, which was filled with lovely and exciting goodies. I received the fashion box, which included a year's subscription to Grazia, Caroline Cox's "How to be Adored", a Topshop voucher and a Baublebar-inspired bracelet. Thanks, Ladbrokes!

My aunt always gets me a CD for Christmas and this year, it was Rihanna's latest album, Unapologetic, which was waiting for me under the tree...

...but I soon realised it wasn't all she'd gotten me and unwrapped this gorgeous Mango sequined jumper.  Merci, Tata!

The lovely people at GHD also sent me a little something, just in time for Christmas, but this is a whole other story - and a whole other post!

My parents stocked me up on two of my favourite beauty products of all-time: the Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm and Benefit's Hoola bronzer, just as I was running out. Talk about perfect timing!

And last but not least, my mum and dad also got me this amazing Yves Saint Laurent Arty Ring! How exciting!  It is the perfect size to wear on my index finger, something I tend to do with most rings and is the most gorgeous cobalt blue colour. I think I am in love! Merci beaucoup, Maman et Papa!

(I hope you liked this post. I was debating whether or not I should publish it, but quite a few people requested it on Twitter and since I personally loved having a nose at other people's Christmas "haul", I thought I'd give it a go. No bragging here, just sharing!)

What did you all get for Christmas, this year? I'd love to know - told you I was a nosey one!
